Looking into the black Pensieve
I watched a tousled-haired boy;
the mirror held your reflection
that would become my joy.

The smell of Quidditch leather gloves,
Weasley relayed the plays;
like graceful birds of prey we flew
those lazy summer days.

 

Resonant timbre of your spells,
I’m yours till my last breath;
your voice holds immortality,
I’ve had enough of death.

 
Wrestling with everyday disdain,
my love lies in your palm;
tentative caress of your hand
soothes like a healing balm.

 
Sweatdrops stud our coupled bodies,
in the night our souls merge;
velvet sky shelters our children,
past and future converge.
