100 things - Movie love themes

Off the top of my head, I can think of a few movie love themes I like very much: 'As time goes by' from Casablanca, 'The way we were', and 'Can you read my mind' from the first Superman movie. The song Nino Rota wrote for Zeffirelli's 'Romeo and Juliet' is my favorite at the moment, though.

I love this scene; when the camera pans around the circle of spectators I can easily picture that the actors, clad with their rich gowns and headgear, have just stepped out from a painting by Caravaggio.

When I made this video, I found out there are two versions of this song in Italian. Elsa Morante wrote the lyrics for this one.
