Twilight halloween teaser.

Below is the beginning of a Halloween Twilight one-shot I'm finishing. It's a bit different in that it mixes horror with science-fiction, and has a few small plot twists.
It is around 4,500 words.
I'll post it tomorrow :)

Jacob put the book down on the bench and then stood up, lazily stretching his long limbs. He cocked his head at the leather-bound book. "Take running water. Stoker says vampires can't cross it and that's plain silly!"

"Water is the symbol of life, Jacob." Edward stood up and walked towards the window. "It stands to reason that the vibrant imagery of a stream would inspire Stoker to conclude that it will stop us."  

Edward crossed his arms and said in a mournful voice, "After all, we are the undead and life should repel us."
