1 - Your current OTP
2 - A pairing you initially didn’t consider but someone changed your mind
3 - A pairing you have never liked and probably never will
............
I asked myself the questions, and below are the multilingual answers:
1 - Your current OTP? Jakeward and Drarry
2 - A pairing you initially didn’t consider but someone changed your mind? It's hard to change my mind so I don't think this applies.
3 - A pairing you have never liked and probably never will? This is easy: Bella/Edward.
4 - A pairing you wish you liked but just can’t? Phoebe/Cole on Charmed. I wrote them but it was hard. Fortunately I won't ever touch that fandom again – not even with a ten-foot pole - so all's well.
5 - Have you added anything stupid/cracky/hilarious to your fandom, if so, what? I think this question is actually demeaning, in the sense that hilarious is not stupid. It's much harder to pull humor than drama. I can easily write about thundering skies opening up and drenching down star-crossed lovers who moan and groan, but humor's hard. That said, I've written the Ferret saga for HP and The Lawsuit for Jakeward.
6 - What’s the longest you’ve ever been in a fandom? About 7 years in the HP fandom
7 - Do you remember your first OTP, if so who was in it? I'd say it was Harry/Draco
8 - Do you prefer characters from real action series or anime series? Real action, I don't like anime.
9 - Has the internet caused you to stop liking any fandoms, if so, which and why? Not really.
10 - Name a fandom you didn’t care/think about until you saw it all over tumblr.
11 - How do you feel about the other people in your current fandom?
12 - Your favorite fanartist/author gives you one request, what do you ask for? I'd ask Vorabiza to write the sequel to Secrets.
13 - Your favorite fanart or fanartist? wincest_drarry. I love her drawings
14 - Your favorite fanfiction or fanauthor?
15 - Choose a song at random, which OTP does it remind you of?
16 - Invent a random AU for any fandom (we always need more ideas). Walter Bishop from Fringe has connected two universes. Unbeknowst to him, in the Amber verse resides Harry Potter's Hogwarts; in the other universe, Jacob and Edward fight the Volturi in Washington State. The universes having been connected, all that stands between destruction and salvation is the conjoined magic of HP and Twilight. (Of course, Bella is eaten by a hybrid early on and the hybrid dies of indigestion)
17 - A ship you’ve abandoned and why?
18 - A pairing you ship that you don’t think anyone else ships? I've read few Draco/Blaise fics. They are shipped but not very often.
19 - Show us an example of your personal headcanon. HP After the War, Draco uses what Rowling gave him: smarts, money and connections, to rebuild his life. He's wiser and wearier and ends up living a happy life with whomever he chooses.
Twilight. Our ancestors knew wolves, and left us legends all over the world. For me, the imprint doesn't exist: The wolf's brain is way more developed than a duck's, and mating for life isn't reason enough to invent a silly plot device. So Jacob runs away. Meanwhile Bella has her child and lives her life and doesn't find the happiness she expected. Jacob returns after 5 years, having matured a lot. Bella – and Edward – notice how desirable he is. Jacob just rubs his hands and smirks gleefully, thinking of the sweet revenge he'll enjoy. You see, Bella is about to find out what our ancestors tried to tell us about wolves.
20 - Do you remember what your first fanwork was? The Drarry short story 'Not your usual ending' which I later made into the first chapter of 'Unusual ending.'
21 - Self-rec: What's your favorite fanwork you've created? The icon on this post, LOL. Nope, they are all my favorites, but I have to say 'Accompanied sonata' and 'The Privy Councilors' are special to me.
22 - Are you one of those fans who can’t watch anything without shipping? Actually, it's very hard for me to ship someone. Lots of conditions have to be met.
23 - 5 favorite characters from 5 different fandoms. Jacob Black, Draco Malfoy, Cole Turner (Charmed), Olivia Dunham (Fringe), Eames (Inception)
24 - 3 OTPs from 3 different fandoms? Jakeward, Drarry and Arthur/Eames
25 - A fandom you’re in but have no ships from. Matrix. I liked it but didn't ship anyone particularly.
26 - Just ramble about something fan-related, go go go! A story has to impinge on the real world across many levels – history, politics, whatever. It has to adhere to certain parts of canon and fanon, and it is governed by controlled passion. In my case, it is a desire to set things right: to ship someone, I have to care about them and rage at the way the authors treated them. This is a source of inspiration which can turn dark or light. I won't ever write for The Miserables, for example, because that book is perfect. I write for flawed universes because we live in such a world.
